The camera: history and information

1. The camera obscure effect is in a completely dark room a tiny hole is in the wall exposing light. The scene is played on the opposite wall.

2. The glass lens helped man get a step closer to making the modern camera.

3. Niepce invented film for the modern camera.

4. The modern camera and the digital camera both have light passing through a box, into the camera, showing the film making a photograph.

5. The digital camera uses an electronic sensor called CCD to capture an imagine.

6. Auto mode will control the flash and exposure. Program mode will automatic-assisit you taking the picture.

7. The portrait mode is used for taking pictures of people because it blurs out the back ground.

8. Sports mode is used for taking pictures of moving objects and people because it will freeze the motion.

9. You should use the half pressed because it gives a faster camera response time, you have more control over the focus ad it encourages better composition.

10. The symbol means that there is no flash and it should be used when you have natural lighting.

11. They symbol means that it's on auto flash and it would be used when you don't know if you should use flash or not because it will use flash if it thinks the picture needs it.

12. If the picture has too much light, the picture will be washed out.

13. If the picture does not have enough lighting the picture will be too dark.

14. A "stop" is used to represent a change in the brightness of light.

15. The new planet will be 1 stop brighter.

16. The new planet will be 2 stops brighter.

17. The long shutter speed has more light.

18. The shorter shutter speed has less light.

19. The aperture lets the light through and acts like a pupil for the camera.

20. You can increase the lighting by having a larger aperture opening.
