academic post-shoot reflection and critique

1. The challenges that I faced during this photo shoot was that some of the teachers didn't want me in their class for a long time so I felt rushed and I didn't have time to take a good photo in that classroom. Another challenge was that I couldn't find a classroom that was doing anything because most of them were just sitting and listening to the teacher or writing notes.

2. During the shoot, I kept thinking about focusing the camera because I didn't want a blurry picture. To fix a picture if it was blurry I would do auto focus or if that wasn't working, I would just fix it myself. When I was taking picture of the art kids, I wanted to get their painting in the photo and them making the painting so I had to find an angle to get both of them in there, but I had to focus on the painting happening.

3. What I would do differently was once again take my time taking pictures and I also would definitely take more pictures than I did.

4. The things I would do the same would be to explore the classes that I did explore.

5. I think balance and rule of thirds would be the easiest rules to achieve on the next photo shoot.

6. I think lines would be the hardest rule to follow on the next photo shoot.

7. The rule that I'm still not completely sure on is simplicity, I just need a couple reminders on what simplicity means but I put what simplicity is in my notes on my phone because I always have my phone with me.
